1by1's market research software was initially built in 1989 to enable high tech firms to gain global insight into their customers', employees' and partners' wants and needs. Since its development, 1by1's Results for Researchâ software have been used for projects in over 70 countries and 25 languages. In January of 2000, 1by1 was spun off from its parent company, RONIN Corporation, to leverage the technology asset through both product and service offerings to market research firms and major corporations. In addition to our market research-oriented data collection products, one key offering bridges the gap between market research and customer relationship management - the Connection Series, which provides an ongoing, intelligent dialog between companies and their customers, suppliers, channels and employees.

In 2002, the business was reunited with RONIN becoming a Division dedicated to providing software solutions for market research firms.
